About

Quark Play started as a group chat where four friends argued about which games were worth keeping on our phones. We got tired of app store screenshots that told us nothing, so we began writing down what we actually noticed during play. That grew into this site.,We are independent. Nobody hands us a script, and we buy or download the games ourselves like anyone else. When something feels shallow after two hours, we say so. When a small game surprises us, we make room for it.,Games get picked for a few reasons: readers ask about them, they climb the charts, or one of us stumbles on something odd and interesting. We try to cover a spread of genres instead of only chasing whatever is trending that week.,Every review lists the phone we tested on and roughly how long we played. If a game changes after a big update, we go back and revise our notes rather than leaving stale opinions online.
