Dust Line Rally
★★★★☆ 4.3
Dust Line Rally nails the feeling of a car that has actual mass. Cornering means committing early and riding the slide, and the tilt steering is tuned well enough that I switched off the on-screen buttons after a day. Tracks are muddy, bumpy and full of little jumps that reward you for knowing them.
There's a decent career mode with sensible upgrades, and thankfully progression doesn't feel gated behind endless repetition. The sense of speed is real, and the crunch of a bad landing never got old.
Racing games tend to hammer a battery, and this one is no exception, so keep a charger nearby for longer sessions. The phone warmed up but stayed within reason on our test device.
