Pocket Harvest Town
★★★★☆ 4.1
Pocket Harvest Town is comfort food. You plant crops, befriend villagers and slowly turn a sleepy hamlet into a proper town. The loop is familiar but polished, and the daily rhythm of watering, harvesting and building is oddly soothing after a long day.
It handles short bursts well, which is exactly what a sim on a phone should do. Timers exist but never felt aggressive, and you're rarely nagged to come back. Menus are clean and the touch targets are large enough to avoid mis-taps.
There isn't much challenge here, so if you want tension look elsewhere. As a wind-down game it does its job, sips battery and never heated up our phone.
